On a recent trip to Target I picked up a Yes To Carrots Moisturizing Eye Cream. The line really piqued my interest with its natural & even some certified organic ingredients & the price point of $14.99 for a 1.7 oz jar of eye cream well that sold me! With that said, I used it morning & night for 3 days & each time I used it my entire orbital bone would flair up in a fiery red! It was horrible-& not only that my skin would feel all tight & dry like I just put rubbing alcohol under & around my eye area! I do not have sensitive skin in the least-my skin is one tough cookie! I have tried countless eye creams ranging from brands like Shiseido to Clinique & never had any issues like this. After reading other beauty bloggers raving about drugstore brands I kinda got up the courage to give this drugstore brand eye cream a go & well quite frankly it must go! I have an email into the Yes to Inc. brand that I sent to them on Friday about my reaction to the product but have yet to get a response...
As anyone else tried this line & had a reaction to it?
oh goodness, that does NOT sound good! what's target's return policy like? with a reaction was bad as yours, they should give you your money back!
ReplyDeleteYou will definitely get your money back. Also, write a 'hard copy' letter to the company to express your disappointment, Thanks for the tip! I'll never waste my money on this.
ReplyDeleteI looked up Target's return policy & online they say they dont except returns on items that have been used...but since I have still not heard from Yes to Inc. I plan on atleast attempting the return!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you just posted about this! Last night Thomas, Tori, and I went to Target and we were in the Burt's Bees aisle. Thomas was looking at the Say Yes to Carrots stuff and I thought about buying some stuff. After I got home I read your post....and I'm happy to say that I didn't get anything! haha
ReplyDeleteIm still waiting to hear from them-Im so annoyed! I even got a pimple in my under eye area! Stay clear of this brand-they clearly dont care about their customers & there products do not live up to what the packages claims!
